CIRCULAR

Of late, it is observed that there is rampant misuse of "work completion certificates' by some contractors in the process of participating in tenders for government works.   Such misuse is made possible due to limited information in the work completion certificates issued by agencies/clients of works already executed.

Therefore, in order to streamline the certificate issuance system for works completed by contractors and curb such unhealthy practices in the construction industry, all the procuring agencies concerned are hereby required to include the following mandatory information, amongst others, in the work completion certificates issued to the contractors:

1.  Name of Contract firm
2.
Name of Proprietor
3.
CDB Registration No.
4.
Trade License No.
5.
Contract Amount
6.
Year of Completion
7.
Award order No. with date

This notification is issued for strict compliance by the all the procuring agencies with immediate effect.
