2nd Induction Course on the ?Basic Skills & Construction Norms? is scheduled to be held

In the Construction Development Board’s continuous effort to enhance quality and professionalism of contractors, the CDB Secretariat shall be conducting its second in the series of courses planned - in Bumthang.  The 3-Day Induction Course on the “Basic Skills & Construction Norms” is scheduled to be held from 25th August - 27th August 2009 for those aspiring contractors who wish to venture in construction business.


Based on the decision of the Board and further approval of the Hon’ble Chairman, CDB, vide letter# MoWHS/CDB-10/tt/2008-09/761 dated 13th April 2009, new applicants requesting for construction license are required to undergo a mandatory Induction Course before issuance of CDB registration certificate. The objective of the course is to familiarize on rules and regulation that pertains construction, create awareness on tendering norms; inculcate sense of quality in construction and to introduce to basic construction skills.


Therefore, all the applicants who have registered with the Secretariat for the induction course must report to Wangdichoeling Lower Secondary School (Multi Purpose Hall), Bumthang at 9 am sharp on 25th August 2009.  Certificate of participation shall be issued to only those who have attended the entire three-day course.
